- A rich source of bioactive compounds i.e. xanthones, benzophenones, hydroxycitric acid(HCA), and anthocyanins(C3G (cyanidin-3-glucoside) & cyanidin-3-sambubioside), it has a high nutrition value. C3G is a powerful anti-oxidant. Anthocyanin value reported for Kokum is 24 mg / g approximately.
